There are as many types of yoga as reason why you should practise it, or try it at least. A lot of people who has never tried it thinks it is a more spiritual thing where you sit in uncomfortable positions and sing chants (and you can certainly do that). But Yoga has much more to offer, and you can choose from a restorative class, focused on stretching or get a high intensity class.

BIKRAM YOGA/ HOT YOGA
Bikram Choudhury, who was an Indian Olympic athlete in the 60’s, founded Bikram Yoga. In 90 minutes you perform a sequence of 26 postures, and it requires discipline, effort and concentration.
Hot Yoga doesn’t repeat the same sequence and classes are usually 60 minutes long.
Both styles require a heated environment, that helps with flexibility It also detoxifies the body as you sweat all the toxins away.
