This is one of the most dangerous diets of all, because you substitute food for air. Celebs like Michelle Pfeiffer are using this fad diet. Surviving on air and sunlight rather than food is obviously dangerous to your health so this is a diet to be avoided at all costs.


This is another way to lose weight but thankfully it involves the consumption of food. Followers of this diet select food that will change their body’s hormone balance. A by-product of that is fat reduction in certain areas of the body. The problem with this diet is that it relies too much on supplements and the science behind it has never been proven.

Dukan Diet -most known

This is basically a high-protein, low-carbohydrate diet which many believe aid rapid weight loss. There’s no proof that the Dukan Diet has that affect and even if you experience weight loss it will come with a distinct lack of energy, constipation and bad breath. You will also need a course of mineral and vitamin supplements while you’re on the diet.

Gluten-Free Diet

A gluten-free diet is another way to lose weight. Avoiding bread, pastries, cakes and biscuits is a common way for people to keep pounds off and technically avoiding gluten isn't one of the most dangerous diets you can follow, but don't go for the gluten-free substitutes as they're high in calories.
